Learn about dynamic disruption systems and how access and disablement tools work.  Bomb technicians will learn about numerous factors such as circuit response times, momentum and energy transfer, and shock effects.  They will learn to quickly assess these threat parameters in order to select the optimal render safe tool based on the risk factors. The course material is applicable to precision and general disruption techniques, and vehicle bomb response.  Technicians will implement new technologies, disablement logic, and render safe procedures that are based on testing and scientifically derived formulas. Instead of depending entirely on tables and loading guides to make decisions, operators will be able to use their new knowledge of disablement engineering to determine the optimum tool and render safe procedure. This course is a balanced mix of classroom and range time.
