The Impulse series of disrupters is a revolution in high explosive mass focusing disrupter design for IED neutralization and bomb clearance. Currently, the patent pending Impulse Disrupter comes in two sizes: Impulse X-10 (1 gallon) and Impulse X-5 (1/2 gallon). Each disrupter has two configurations: the Blade and Arc30, which have different jet profiles. The Blade forms a focal linear jet and the Arc30 forms a broad jet. The Arc30 has an expanding jet that covers a 30 degree arc from its center. This jet characteristic makes it highly impulsive. There are different PowerCore explosive charges to change the energy output of the Impulse disrupters. Free with each disrupter is the Kinepak Powercore. If more energy is needed, order the composition C-4 fillable PowerCore tubes. There is elegance in simplicity–add water, activate the Kinepak, insert a blasting cap and head down range. Setting up an Impulse disrupter takes less than two minutes. The Impulse disrupter can be stored filled with water, which takes a time consuming step out of the deployment.
